On Sunday, March 13th, 2022, students representing 15 public and private schools hosted the annual Miami Youth Climate Summit.
The summit was available online for free with the goal to educate South Florida's youth and young people around the world on the urgency of the climate crisis.
This program included 20 speakers featuring Ron Magill (Goodwill Ambassador and Communications Director, Zoo Miami), John Morales (Chief Meteorologist at WTVJ NBC-6), Jane Gilbert (Chief Heat Officer, Miami-Dade County), and Daniella Levine Cava (Miami-Dade County Mayor).
