Athletics at PTS

Thank you for visiting Palmer Trinity School – Home of The Falcons. We are very proud of our school and our Athletic Programs. At Palmer Trinity School, our students have the opportunity to play 12 different sports and be a part of more than 47 different teams, in a wide variety of competitive individual and team sports. PTS recognizes and celebrates the strong link that exists between high academic achievement and participation in athletics, as over 65% of our students compete as a member of at least one team, and many compete on two or more teams during the school year. Our student athletes truly embody that ideal first put forth nearly 2000 years ago, when the poet Juvenal spoke of the true athlete possessing “A Sound Mind in a Sound Body.”

Palmer Trinity is the right place for your son or daughter to learn all the values that an organized athletic program can offer. Palmer Trinity School athletics can provide entry-level experience or advance skill training and competition. Students are encouraged to develop their athletic gifts in a positive coaching environment. Our coaches are experienced, enthusiastic instructors who are trained to teach the fundamentals, while helping each student develop hard work, dedication, perseverance, and character. If your child is looking for an academic-based program that has a long and proud history of championship teams and individuals, where he or she can take their game to the next level, then Palmer Trinity School is definitely the place for your family. Our teams have won multiple State, District, and Regional Championships. Falcon coaches have been awarded “Coach of the Year” multiple times, and Palmer Trinity student athletes have been selected to All-League, All-County, and All-State honors innumerable times. Palmer Trinity School graduates have gone on to become Olympians and to win NCAA Championship. A Falcon student athlete is truly recognized as one of the best and brightest!

Our Falcon teams are organized by grade-level, ability, skill, and degree of competitiveness. At the high school level, we offer Varsity and Junior Varsity teams for boys and girls that compete as members of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA). Our middle school students participate on three levels: Middle School Varsity (6th – 8th, as members of the South Florida Middle School Conference), Middle School Junior Varsity (6th – 8th), and Middle School Intermediate (6th – 8th) teams. Game schedules, practice schedules, coach’s information, breaking news, contest results, and driving directions to the various venues can be found on the Palmer Trinity School website for all Falcon teams.

Please visit our team page and department links on our website to learn more about Palmer Trinity Athletics. Whether celebrating the thrill of victory, or the agony of defeat, we learn to win with grace and lose with dignity. We use sports to learn life lessons about hard work, dedication, perseverance, integrity, team building, and sacrifice, we strive to live the words of the great Derek Jeter, “There may be people that have more talent than you, but there’s no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do.”

We invite each of you to come out and join our team of Falcons!
