Many choose to make credit card gifts online through our secure donation forms. To give online, click Give Online.

Most donors make outright cash contributions. The School gratefully accepts cash gifts, including checks and the major credit cards: VISA, American Express, and MasterCard. A cash gift entitles the donor to an income tax deduction in the year of the gift.

As an employee benefit, more than 550 American corporations match their staffs’ philanthropic contributions, allowing employees to double or triple their dollars. To see if your gift qualifies for a match, please contact your company’s human resources department.

Through an income interest gift, a donor may contribute the income for an asset while retaining ownership of that asset. In this case, the School receives income for a designated period of years, after which the asset and any subsequent income returns to the donor, his or her spouse, children, or another designated individual. This form offers both immediate and future tax advantages. 

Many donors take advantage of the personal tax benefits of organizing a planned gift. The attraction of irrevocable planned gifts is that they are deferred. You part with an asset today, but the actual giving of the asset to Palmer Trinity School is put off for a while, often until after your lifetime (and that of a beneficiary, if you wish). Until that time, the donor receives benefits from the gift. Read more about Planned Giving options.
