Environmental Initiatives

Palmer Trinity Preps for the Planet

By integrating sustainability into our curriculum, campus operations, and community outreach, we aim to cultivate a culture of environmental awareness and action. Through hands-on projects, educational initiatives, and community partnerships, the program encourages students to engage with critical environmental issues. The Environmental Stewardship Program instills in students a deep respect for nature, an understanding of their ecological impact, and a commitment to sustainable practices.

Blue Stewards

The Blue Stewards program blends traditional education and travel experiences at Palmer Trinity School with scientific research and advocacy happening right here in Miami and around the globe. Working with private and nonprofit partners, students explore the centrality of water in people’s lives by examining water as both an environmental necessity and a key cultural element.

The Blue Stewards Junior Certificate, the US Certificate, and the US Medallion, awarded by Palmer Trinity School, celebrate a student’s successful completion of a course of study-action with a special focus on water as an element of life.

To awaken, through classroom education, travel experiences, field studies, research, and commitment, a new awareness of water’s role as an essential element of life.

Blue Stewards' Mission

To foster sustainable communities through a focus on water, a critical resource that connects us across multiple types of cultural, socio-economic, geospatial, and political landscapes.
