Support PTS

Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is the number one fundraising priority for PTS. Your generosity supports what matters to you at PTS: talented teachers, small classes, enriching arts and athletics, library and teaching resources, technology, safety, and much more. Our goals are to improve the dollars raised every year (last year was $992,000), increase the number of Leadership Gifts (last year was 160), and march towards 100% participation (last year was 94%). We humbly ask the community to rally behind this all-important initiative and make a personally significant gift that aligns with our goals.
Annual Fund gifts touch every student, every faculty member, and every corner of our school. Every donation, every year, makes it all possible.

Your Annual Fund Dollars at Work

Palmer Trinity School’s Annual Fund dollars support an incredible range of programs and projects for our community, including these and many more:
  • Completed construction of the three custom classroom "innovation spaces" to inspire cutting-edge learning projects.
  • Increased our professional development budget, and continue to support competitive faculty salaries.
  • Funded the after-school free tutoring program, allowing students to get the extra help they need directly on campus.
  • Invested in the "Falcon Feeder" dining station. Located next to the Tiki Hut by the gymnasium, there is now a custom outdoor dining area to expand lunchtime seating capacity and allow students the ability to enjoy the natural beauty of the campus.
  • Added solar panels and electric car charging stations to the Athletics Field House incorporating the monitoring of consumption by students into curriculum. The goal is to make it the first "net-zero" building on campus. Net-zero buildings are fully powered by renewable energy sources, leaving no carbon footprint.
  • Created The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (C.E.L.T), which aspires to promote a faculty culture of life-long learning and a dedication to enhancing our teaching practices.
  • Completed construction of the multipurpose (basketball/volleyball) outdoor courts on the South Campus.
  • Assisted with the construction of the Athletic Field House, which is adjacent to the main athletic field. It hosts much-needed locker rooms, a storage room, and restrooms.
  • Bolstered the budget for each of the academic departments, as well as the arts and athletics.
  • Completed construction of the "Hester Family Monument", which is located at the entrance to the South Campus. The Hester Family Monument symbolizes the landmark purchase of the South Campus property from Virginia and William Hester.
  • Assisted with the funding for need-based financial aid for deserving students.
  • Upgraded technology infrastructure with broadcasting equipment and state of the art servers to allow for live streaming of morning announcements.

Frequently Asked Questions

List of 5 frequently asked questions.

  • My family is already paying tuition, and plenty of it. How does my child benefit when we donate to the Annual Fund as well?

As an independent private school, charitable gifts are a crucial part of Palmer Trinity's healthy financial operation. Your donation to the Annual Fund supports what matters to you at PTS: talented teachers, small classes, enriching arts and athletics, library and teaching resources, technology, safety, and much more.
  • What is a pledge?

A pledge is a "promise" to give a certain amount prior to the fiscal year end (June 30). Pledging is a great way to confirm your commitment to the Annual Fund, but fulfill the gift at a time that fits better with your families philanthropic plans. Many families also use pledges to increase the impact of their gift by organizing pledges to be fulfilled in multiple installments.

  • How much should I give to the Annual Fund?

We ask each family to consider giving at a level that is personally significant to them. Our giving levels are featured below, and our hope is that each family will join a Leadership Circle level that best exemplifies their capacity to give.

  • When should I make my Annual Fund gift or pledge?

To maximize the annual influence of our community's generosity, we ask that you consider making your gift during our Fall Annual Fund drive. Although the fiscal year ends June 30th, an early commitment to the Annual Fund puts PTS in a great position to allocate resources for our children. It also puts PTS in a great position to market our amazing internal support to other constituencies considering supporting the PTS mission.
  • Are gifts to the Annual Fund tax deductible? What is a matching gift?

Yes, gifts to the Annual Fund are tax deductible. As an employee benefit, more than 550 American corporations match their staffs' philanthropic contributions. If your employer has a gift-matching program, you can double or triple your support to PTS!
