PTS Model U.N. Represents at FHSMUN Conference
During the weekend of Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13, 33 Model United Nations delegates from PTS did a fabulous job representing Argentina, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Mali, Panama, Sudan, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United States at the FHSMUN Gulf Coast 7 Conference in Punta Gorda, FL. They debated issues surrounding the precarious security situation in Libya, the global illicit small arms trade, international cybercrime, and disease control in humanitarian emergencies. Their efforts to fashion resolutions to address these crises were innovative and insightful.

Special recognition goes out to two of our Indonesia delegates, Megan Maguire and John Turner-Smith, who brought home outstanding and most-improved delegate awards for their work in the UN Security Council and World Health Organization, respectively.
PTS ended up taking home 2 of the 8 awards bestowed at a conference consisting of over 100 delegates. A great achievement!
