Varsity Girls Soccer Moves on in Regional Play

The Varsity Girls Soccer team advanced to the Regional Semifinals after beating SLAM Academy 6 - 0 in the Region 4-1A Quarterfinals behind Juliette Hamilton's tenth shutout of the season.  Sofia Rivas scored twice and added two assists while 8th grader Georgia Malueg notched a goal and added an assist.  Maria Gabriella Benedetti scored her first career varsity goal before Victoria Rosales and Sophia Krueger each netted a goal to round out the scoring.  The Falcons are now 13-2-1 and are scheduled to play district rival Somerset Academy Silver Palms in the Regional Semifinals on Tuesday, January 31^st at Palmer Trinity at 4 pm.
