What is your favorite thing about your role at PTS?
As Department Co-Chair I serve a team of talented and professional educators from whom I am intellectually enriched. As a teacher working in this school, I am enabled to be creative and pedagogically innovative to better serve the needs of my students.
What are you most proud of in your own life?
I am proud to have created a course in Women's Studies at high school level and see the transformative lifelong impact this course has on my students.
If you could offer everyone, just one piece of advice, what would you say?
Surround yourself with wise, sensitive, and sensible people who will help you grow and make good decisions.
What is the best gift you have been given?
The gift of family and friendship. I can count on very good and close friends from this country and from my country of birth. Despite being away for twenty years I was able to nurture those precious relationships.
