Falcons Defeat Cornerstone Charter Academy in Orlando

On Friday night, the Falcons withstood a stifling Cornerstone defense and a driving rainstorm to win 7-0 in Orlando. Dylan DiBello hit Guillermo Bonet for a 55-yard touchdown bomb mid-way through the 4th Quarter to break open the game. Bonet also picked up an interception, and Chad Serrate helped ice the game with another interception late in the 4th. Daniel Chumbley led the team in receiving with over 100 yards, while Owen Almeida was the anchor on the offensive line.

But the defensive players were the stars of the night. Defensive backs Daniel Erixon, Pablo Pedroso, and Zack Peckins stopped Cornerstone's passing attack. Jon Sourber led the defensive line with five tackles.
