Falcons Varsity Football Defeat Highland Christian 26-21
The Palmer Trinity Falcons Varsity Football Team had a great bounce-back victory, beating Highlands Christian 26-21. The offense had a balanced attack with WR Tyler Farias hauling in 3 catches for 106 yds and 2 long TDS including a 75-yard TD reception from QB Dylan DiBello. 1-RB Blake Miller led the Falcons again on the ground with 19 carries for 153 yards, including a 63-yard TD run. WR Guillermo Bonet had a 27-yard TD reception. Carlos Pedroso had crucial plays that helped the Falcons score touchdowns.
The Falcon defense was led by LB Andy Beauperthuy (10 tackles and 1 INT). Daniel Chumbley also had an interception and returned it for over 20 yards. Chad Serrate had a few explosive kick returns and some nice tackles at Safety. Nick Sourber and Austin Cannon also had strong games on defense. Falcons now sit in first place in the Florida Independent Football Conference.
