Falcons Fall to Spartans in Varsity Tennis

Although the games were extremely close, the PTS Tennis Teams dropped non-district contests to the Miami Country Day Spartans. Andrew Bicknell was a winner for the boys team as he defeated his opponent 8-5 for the Falcons lone win. Hallie Parten (8-5) and Carolina Esslinger (8-3) were both winners for the girls team.

Boys Singles

1. Alex Bloch lost to Shaun Berman 8-6

2. Waleed Mneimneh lost to Alex Koss 7-7(8-6)

3. Beekman Schaefer lost to Rafael Kassin 7-7(7-5)

4. Andrew Bicknell defeated Nick Banks 8-5

5. Carlos Singer lost to Max Cohan 8-6

Boys Doubles

1. Alex Block-Waleed Mneimneh tied Shaun Berman- Alex Koss 6-6

2. Andrew Bicknell- Alejandro Martinez- Oletta 2-3 to Matt Kanter- Dani- Kassin

Girls Singles:

1. Hallie Parten defeated Elizabeth Kasparitis 8-5

2. Nina Aguirre lost to Megan Tate 8-3
