The Palmer Trinity MS Football Team played their best football of the season with an exciting, come from behind victory over the Coral Springs Christian Crusaders.
The Falcons trailed 0-6 after the visitors scored and early TD but Daniel Avadis took the ensuing kickoff and rumbled 62 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 6-6.
The score remained tied unitl the 4th quarter when PTS recovered a fumble and marched down the field on runs by Connor Sasich and Sean Moore with Moore finally scoring on a 1 yard plunge into the line.
With a 12-6 lead, the Falcons forced CSCA to turn the ball over on downs which allowed them to run out the clock and take the win!
Palmer Trinity will now travel to Miami Country Day on Sept. 19 for a 4:00 PM contest against the Spartans. This will be a JV game as 9th graders will play for both schools.
