Falcon Football A Winner in Spring Scrimmage!

The Falcons, who came out highly organized and efficient, utilized a diversified offense to keep NWC on their heels, with rising Freshman Matt Lewis catching a touchdown pass, rushing for a 40-yard touchdown and returning an interception for a touchdown. Quarterback Dylan DiBello, also a rising freshman, threw another touchdown pass to rising Senior Dustin Phillip on a key 3rd down and 15 play. The offense was also bolstered by the running back duo of Blake Rubin and Blake Miller, who combined for over a hundred yards on the ground.

The defense was also dominant, led by Jonathan Sourber and and Matt Cabanes, who each had 3 tackles. A quarterback sack by Giancarlo Coccarello and several strong plays by lineman Jonathan Benitez helped shut down the opponents in the 2nd half and preserved the Falcon victory.

Palmer Trinity finishes it's Spring workouts with a full scrimmage at Zion Lutheran (in Deerfield Beach) on May 22 at 5:00 PM.
