Girls XC Places 6th at Spanish River Invite

For the boys, Junior Luis Asensio was 4th place overall with a 5K time of 17:56. Seniors Matt Benenati and Armando Porto took 13 and 14th places with times of 19:11 and 19:12 respectively.

Cristina Serra led the Girls Varsity with a 15th place finish and a personal best of 23:30, continuing to drop her time at each race. Her goal is to qualify for State as an individual, and she is a strong contender. Patricia Martinez,Natalia Benchlouch,Gabriela Fernandez-Pla, and Ana Martinez-Oletta, all 7th graders, raced very competitively.

This year the Falcon's Cross Country Team had enough runners to participate in the JV Boys and JV Girls race categories as well. Many new team members set personal best records, including Brittney McDonough, who came in at 27:30, and Juan Nicholls with a time of 26:51.
