Palmer Trinity School/We are happy to share that one of our articles in Aerie Magazine, written by Carlos Penzini '22 and Edward Strong '22 earned recognition: Best of CASE District III Award for News/Feature Writing Under 1,000 Words. Congratulations to all involved!
Best of District III Awards celebrate the best work in educational advancement in the Southeast region and acknowledge superior accomplishments that have lasting impact, demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, and deliver exceptional results. Winners are showcased in the winners gallery on the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) website.
The winning article, "A New Class Asset," was assigned and edited by the magazine's Editorial Director, Blanca Morales. The idea came after learning that the students presented on cryptocurrency to a panel of faculty for an independent study. The faculty were curious to learn more about the topic, which they knew little about. Thus, the article's goal was to have students share about their own research and experience to an audience unfamiliar with the concept. The article's aim was to be educational and accessible to fellow students, faculty, parents and alumni.
