Breaking Through Society is a club/ foundation I founded to raise awareness and provide assistance to kids and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the Palmer community and beyond. My goal for the coming school year is to collaborate with other schools to make a significant effect while spreading knowledge and positivity. The Club moderator is Ms. Monifa Kelsey.

“Luau Cruise” was a homecoming-style dance for teenagers with special needs. We wanted to commemorate these outstanding adolescents' accomplishments, provide them with the experience of a high school dance, and, most importantly, encourage inclusivity.

I believe that this club/ foundation has a significant influence on other people. It increases acceptability for these persons rather than simply raising awareness in the community. Because it is obvious that people are aware of these individuals, but do we truly accept them? This is why my organization uses the hashtag #AcceptanceVsAwareness. Last, but not least, the motto is "Your voice has power, your opinions have value, and you can help create change."
