Middle School Baseball in First Place in Conference After Defeating Doctor's Charter

The Middle School Boys Baseball team defeated Doctor's Charter by a score of 12 to 2, and remain undefeated and in first place in the South Florida Middle School Conference. The Falcons were leading the game by 10 runs after 5 innings, when the game ended by Mercy Rule. Great defense held Doctor's Charter to only 2 runs.

The Middle School Boys Tennis team defeated Epiphany by a score of 7 to 0 in their season opener at home. It was a perfect day for Middle School Boys Tennis as 5 singles and 2 doubles were victorious over Epiphany.

Varsity Boys Baseball Continues Winning Streak
2/27/2015
The Varsity Boys Baseball team remains undefeated after defeating Marathon by a score of 6 to 3. The Falcons remain first in the district and conference. Senior Taylor Walker gets the win with 8 strikeouts. Blake Miller '16 went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI, and Quentin Wheeler '17 went 1 for 1 with 1 RBI. The Falcons will travel to Florida Christian for their next game on Tuesday, March 3rd.

Everglades Literacy Program at PTS

Biology teachers Dr. Mealey and Dr. Hammerschlag raised awareness about America’s most important wetland ecosystem: the Everglades.

Collaborating with the Everglades Foundation, Dr. Mealey and Dr. Hammerschlag exposed their students to a first-of-its-kind comprehensive Everglades education curriculum, which is part of the Everglades Literacy Program. The lesson plan developed by the Everglades Foundation led students to explore key aspects of the Everglades, the issues surrounding this vast ecosystem, and ways to take action to help preserve it.

Falcons Middle School Baseball defeat Ransom Everglades

On Wednesday, the Palmer Trinity Middle School Baseball team beat Ransom Everglades by a score of 8-2. Grant Foremen '19 pitched the entire game, an amazing 7 innings. Out of 17 players on the team, 15 had an opportunity to play in the game. The game took place at the Miami Dade Boys and Girls Club on US 1 and 32nd Avenue. However, distance did not deter the fans from showing up to cheer on the winning Falcons! Next up, the Falcons take on Doctor's Charter on Friday, February 27th, at PTS.

Falcons Varsity Baseball Take 1st Place in the Conference

The Varsity Boys Baseball team defeated Archbishop Curley by a score of 14 to 1 to improve their season record to 8 and 0, and conference record to 2 and 0. The Falcon are in first place in the conference as the team prepares to play its first district game verses Marathon on Friday, February 27th, on the road. Matt Roberts was the winning pitcher. Junior Blake Miller hit a homerun and had 2 RBIs. The team jumped out to a 14 to 0 lead and the game ended by mercy rule after Archbishop Curley could only score 1 run in the 5th inning.

Chinese New Years Celebration

In celebration of Chinese New Years, the Chinese Honor Society hosted a Chinese characters competition during lunch periods today. In addition, SAGE Dining served delicious Chinese inspired dishes and screens in the MDR played videos showing the different traditions observed during New Years celebrations.

The Varsity Boys Baseball team defeated Champagnat 11 to 1 at home. The wining pitcher, Justin Kross '16 pitched a complete game with 5 strikeouts. Blake Miller '16 went 2 of 3, with a home run and 3 RBI's. Jarrett Pico '16 batted 2 of 4.
