Varsity Football Holds Strong at Home
Due to Hurricane Ian, Varsity Football hosted two games in a week and put together two strong performances, defeating Somerset South Homestead 26-7 and Palm Glades Academy 40-12.
Against SOHO, Aden Davenport '23 completed 7 of 10 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns. Jahmir Everett '23 put up 119 yards and three touchdowns receiving while Andres Williams '24 rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown. Lou Kipp '24 and Jake Pearcy '24 led the way defensively with 12 and 10 tackles respectively, while Matteo Blanzuoli added three sacks.
Against Palm Glades, the Falcons celebrated Homecoming with a big win. Williams scored a rushing, punt return, and interception return touchdown. Davenport threw for three touchdowns on just six throws - completing a touchdown to Everett, Walker Smith '24, and Max Drucker '24.
The Falcons (4-2) travel to Westminster Christian on Saturday, October 15th at 1:00pm
