Welcome Abiodun "Tunde" Adeyemi as Varsity Boys Soccer Head Coach

The Palmer Trinity Athletic Department is excited to introduce Abiodun “Tunde” Adeyemi as the Head Coach of the Varsity Boys Soccer program. Adeyemi comes to Palmer Trinity with vast experiences as both a player and a coach. Adeyemi enjoyed a professional career spanning 12 years in the United Soccer League (USL) from 2001-2012 with three organizations, Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, Carolina Dynamo FC, and Miami FC.

After retirement, Adeyemi was quick to turn his love of soccer into a love of coaching. He worked to receive his National “B” Coaching license from the United States Soccer Federation and coached for the United States Soccer Federation Development Academy in Boca Raton where he trained many athletes prior to their professional careers. Adeyemi has also served as a head coach for programs at Miami Country Day School and Somerset Academy Charter High. He was named Miami Herald Coach of the Year in 2019 while the Varsity Girls Soccer coach at Miami Country Day.

Prior to his professional career, Adeyemi was a four-year letterman on Radford University’s Division I soccer team. He graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Media Studies in Advertising.
