Varsity Girls Basketball Wins District Title

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Basketball team for winning the FHSAA Class 3A District 16 Championship after a 74-64 victory over Somerset Silver Palms! The Falcons entered the tournament as the #2 seed and defeated Marathon and Carrollton, setting up a District Championship on the road against top-ranked Somerset Silver Palms. The game was fast-paced and back and forth before the Falcons were able to pull away in the fourth quarter. Jade Leon '24 led all scorers with 21 points. Amanda Kaplan '24 finished with 15 points, including three three points field goals in the final quarter. Emily Montes '23 added 14 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, and four steals while Angelina Deleon '25 continued her hot streak with 13 points. Palmer Trinity moves on to the Regional Tournament as the #3 seed and will host Carrollton on Thursday, February 10th at 7:00pm.
