Students Interview Dr. David Christian, Creator of Big History

Students in World History interviewed Dr. David Christian, Creator of Big History, a holistic and interdisciplinary approach that encompasses the history of human existence on a broad scale, from the Big Bang up to the present and the future.

 

The conversation revolved around the near future and the pivotal role students will play as planetary managers. Dr. Christian was impressed by the questions crafted by our students and stated that PTS undergraduates are global citizens, very well prepared to understand the scale of transformation our planet will go through. He encouraged students to keep the wide-angle lens perspective learned in Big History as they pursue their studies.
