Palmer Trinity Juniors Volunteer at Beach Clean Up

On Sunday, April 11, eight Palmer Trinity students, including myself, went to Hobie Beach in Key Biscayne to spend the morning participating in a beach clean up.
We received gloves and a bucket, and with social distancing, collected trash all over the beach for a couple of hours.
It was a beautiful day and there was a nice breeze to keep us cool. We found all sorts of trash varying from cans and bottles to plastic bags and straws. Overall, it was a great experience because my classmates and I spent the day together while doing something that benefited the community.
