Varsity Baseball Wins on Senior Day

Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball team on their 16-11 victory over Everglades Prep on Senior Day! With the game tied 9-9 heading into the bottom of the 6th, the Falcons unloaded seven runs to take a 16-9 lead into the final frame and held on to improve to 6-5 on the year. Andres Williams '24 led the Falcons, driving home three runs and scoring twice. Carlos Calleja '21 went 3-5 with an RBI and two runs scored while Alvaro Ortega-Morales went 2-3 with an RBI and run scored. Sam Burnitz '23 also added three RBI's. Andrew Sondon '22 earned the win on the mound. Prior to the game, Carlos Calleja, Ryan Gomez, Cristian Lopez, Massimo Moscetti, Alvaro Ortega-Morales, and Jeremy Shodell were honored for their years of dedication and commitment to the baseball program on Senior Day! The Falcons will be back in action on Friday, April 9th when they travel to Doctors Charter at 4:00 pm.
