Varsity Baseball Defeats Somerset South Homestead

Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball team for their 11-7 victory on the road over Somerset South Homestead. After falling behind early, the Falcons scored six unanswered runs to seal the victory. Carlos Calleja '21 led the way, going 5-5 at the plate with three doubles and driving in six runs while scoring two of his own. Cristian Lopez '21 added two RBI's while Sam Burnitz '23 and Jake Pearcy '24 each scored three runs. Charles Fornaris '23 earned the win on the mound, pitching four scoreless innings and giving up only two hits. The Falcons (5-3) host Riviera Prep on Tuesday, March 23rd at 4:00 pm.
