Varsity Boys and Girls Track Wins Home Meet
Congratulations to both the Varsity Boys and Girls Track & Field Teams for winning their home meet. Angelina Deleon '25 led the Girls by winning the 400m dash with a time of 1:03.99 and the Discuss Throw (24.4m). Gabriella Dorta '22 set a new school record in the 300m Hurdles (47.96) with her win. Dorta also broke the school record for the 100m hurdles with a time of 17.24, good for second overall. Maria Camposano '24 won the High Jump (4'7") while Emily Montes '23 finished first in Shot Put (8.86m).
On the boys side, Brandon Pottinger '22 set the new school record for High Jump at 6'7". Robbie Robertson '22 finished first overall in Triple Jump (12.0m) while Austin Foster '23 won the Discus (41.1m).
The Varsity Track & Field teams will be back in action on Wednesday, March 17th when they travel to Coral Gables High School for the Ransom Everglades Meet.
