Palmer Trinity School Plays Active Role in the Miami Youth Climate Summit

Palmer Trinity was well-represented at the 2021 Miami Youth Climate Summit.

Palmer Trinity School's own alumna, Delaney Reynolds '17, spoke at the virtual event on March 6.

The summit was hosted by PTS in partnership with eight local schools. Leandro de Armas '21 served as co-emcee.

Over 1,200 people from six continents registered to attend this online event. The Miami Youth Climate Summit provided an opportunity to unite middle and high school students across the world to tackle pressing climate issues. The goal of the summit is to motivate youth from thinking about the "What is climate change?" to "What can we do about climate change?" through engaging speakers and workshops.

Other presenters included Miami-Dade County mayor Daniella Levine Cava, and Danni Washington, co-founder of Big Blue & You.
