Varsity Girls Soccer Defeats Ransom in Overtime

After 80 minutes of a grueling defensive battle, the Varsity Girls Soccer team headed to overtime with Ransom Everglades, fighting for a spot in the District Championship. In the second half of the overtime period, the Falcons were awarded a free kick where Jessica Leathe '22 put a strike into the back of the net from 25 yards out, giving the Falcons a 1-0 lead. Palmer Trinity would hang on to win 1-0 and advance to the FHSAA Class 3A District 15 Championship game. Brittney Mills '22 made 4 saves to earn the clean sheet. The Falcons will host Westminster Christian on Wednesday, February 10th at 3:30 pm in the District Championship game.
