Collaboration with A Plant In Every Classroom

In collaboration with A Plant In Every Classroom, Palmer Trinity School distributed plants to faculty to help improve the environment of our classrooms and connect children to nature.
A Plant In Every Classroom is a non-profit whose mission is to help improve the health of students and educators by bringing nature into their daily lives. The organization works with schools to bring indoor plants to their classrooms.

Research shows that just 40 seconds of viewing a plant helps ease stress, improve focus and attention, and create a culture of health. The pothos, also known as "money plant" or "silver vine," is an easy-to-care-for classroom plant.
Pothos is low light, low allergy, low toxicity, and low water (only needs watering once a week). It even grows in classrooms without a window.
