Virtual Groundbreaking of the Student Life Wing

Friday, August 21st, marked another historic moment in Palmer Trinity School history. Head of School, Mr. Patrick Roberts, joined by the reverend Dr. Mary Ellen Cassini, and chairman Mr. Hugo Mantilla, led us in a virtual groundbreaking of the new Student Life Wing.

Centrally located, the new building will be right in the heart of campus, adjoining the Academic Building, situation by Trinity Chapel.

The Student Life Wing will be a beautiful, functional space housing our Admissions and College Counseling offices, Diversity Equity and Inclusion(DEI) spaces, a Global Citizenship area, CELT (Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching), as well as the Student Activities and Academic Dean offices.

It will also have additional classrooms and other gathering spaces in which students, faculty and staff may collaborate.

At our virtual groundbreaking, we were joined by Hugo Mantilla, Palmer Trinity's Board Chair, and the Bishop of Southeast Florida, Bishop Eaton who said a prayer for us.

Thank you all, especially our honored guests, for taking the time to join us remotely this morning. Without the dedication, commitment and collaborative work of so many individuals, the Student Life Wing would have been possible in this final "step" in our Soaring to Greater Heights endeavor.
