Varsity Girls Golf Edges Past Doral Academy

In a nail biter, the Varsity Girls Golf team edged out a 160-163 win over Doral Academy in the final regular season match. Despite multiple rain and lightning stoppages, the Falcons were able to persevere to post their lowest score of the season. Pamela Ascobereta '21 and Alessandra Lanz '22 led the team with matching two-over par scores of 37 with multiple birdies. Sydney Powell '23 and Hannah Grene '23 also sank multiple birdie shots en route to respective scores of 42 and 44. The girls will compete in the District Tournament on Monday, October 14th at the Biltmore.
