Falcons Shine at Palmer Trinity Invitational Meet
All four Cross Country teams excelled in the first home meet of the season on a beautiful afternoon at Palmer Trinity. The MS Girls Cross County team placed second overall and were led by medalists Sophie Llevat (13:46), Lila Algarin (13:53), and Katarina Pena (14:55). Medalists Omar Perez (12:31), Henry Stark (12:45), Avery McCray (12:54), A.J. Navarro (13:14), Gregory Tindle (13:16), and Dominic Hendricks (13:21) led the MS Boys to a third place finish.
At the Varsity level, the Boys and Girls Varsity teams both placed second overall. For the boys, George Stark won the 5k with a time of 17:17 and was followed closely by Alejandro Storper (19:02), Eduardo del Rosal (19:15), and Austin Foster (20:17) who also all medaled. Victoria Barrios led the girls with a fifth place finish and a time of 24:08 while Carmen Gonzalez Del Valle also medaled with a time of 26:06.
Varsity Boys and Girls Cross Country will travel to Larry and Penny Thompson Park on Friday, October 11th at 3:00pm to participate in the 305 Classic.
