Varsity Volleyball Holds off Doral Academy

For the second time in two weeks, Palmer Trinity's Varsity Volleyball team dropped the first set to Doral Academy, just to bounce back and go on to win in thrilling fashion. This time, Palmer Trinity lost the opening set, went up 2-1, lost the fourth, and then ultimately finished off Doral in the fifth and final set for the 3-2 victory (17-25, 25-19, 25-22, 23-25, 15-11). Abigail Cohen '20 led the Falcons with an astounding 26 assists and 10 digs. Sarah Bayas '24 added two aces and 17 digs, while Sofia Santamaria '23 continued her excellent play with 21 assists, 15 digs, 12 kills, and an ace. Palmer Trinity (5-3) will take on Marathon on the road on Saturday, September 14th at 1:00 pm.
