Fourth Quarter Rally Drives Varsity Football to Victory in Opener

The Varsity Football team traveled to St. Andrew's to open the regular season and found themselves trailing 14-13 midway through the fourth quarter. A 30-yard field goal from Marcos Leon '22 gave the Falcons a 16-14 lead and Ja'Khai Rainey '24 sealed the game with a 35-yard touchdown run with a minute remaining. Ernest Robertson, III previously scored on a 50-yard reception. The 1-0 Falcons will host Somerset Academy Key on Friday, August 30th at 4:00 pm. Plan to be in attendance as all Palmer Trinity faculty members will be honored at halftime.
