Varsity Boys Soccer Back-to-Back State Champions

The Varsity Boys Soccer team has successfully defended their title after winning the 2019 Class 1A State Championship following a 2-1 victory over Shorecrest Prep, giving the Falcons back-to-back State Championships. Despite falling behind early in the game, the Falcons kept their composure and tied the game just over ten minutes later when Senior Jonathan Ludwig placed a perfect pass from Robert Bistry into the corner of the net. Then, with just under ten minutes left in regulation, Senior Michael Gomez deposited a rebound off a Klever Rosales shot into the back of the net, giving the Falcons a 2-1 lead in which they would never relinquish. Congratulations to all coaches and players on a fantastic season!
