In celebration of Poetry Month and 'Poem in Your Pocket Day', Mr. Whitley's sixth graders worked hard on reading and writing poetry in class, and decided to share their poetry in a unique form: Poetry Bombing. At random times during C period on April 21st, the 6th-graders suddenly opened classroom doors around campus and threw balls of paper into the rooms. Each paper ball featured poetry written by Mr. Whitley's 6th-graders. Afterward, the poetry-bombed classrooms had the opportunity to read and share the poems with each other.
