Learning From To Kill A Mockingbird

On February 16th, Mr. Whitley's 8th-graders presented original projects that discussed their understanding of topics like social equality, prejudice, gender, and the concept of good vs. evil. These topics were all discussed in class while reading To Kill a Mockingbird. The projects lasted between 5-10 minutes and included walk-through presentations, decorated benches, social media accounts, board games, and a variety of other interactive content.
