Frequently Asked Questions

List of 4 frequently asked questions.

  • My family is already paying tuition. How does my child benefit when we donate to the Annual Fund as well?

Your child’s education is financed by both your tuition and your Annual Fund gift. Tuition and fees only cover the necessities in our operations. Your donation to the Annual Fund supports what matters to you at PTS: talented teachers, small classes, enriching arts and athletics, library and teaching resources, technology, safety, and much more. Like most private schools in the United States, charitable gifts are a part of Palmer Trinity’s healthy financial operation. Unlike tuition, donations to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible and allow each family to give at any amount.
  • How much should I give to the Annual Fund? What difference can my gift really make?

Your donation does make a difference! Annual Fund donations range from $10 to $25,000. You can even make a "pledge" – a promise to give. Pledges can be paid monthly, quarterly, or at one time. For example, a Leadership Level pledge of $1,000 can be paid in 10 monthly installments of $100. We are happy to send you pledge reminders if you would like. Every gift counts!
  • What is the difference between a gift and a pledge?

A "pledge" is a promise of money that you will donate to the school by June 30. (The Annual Fund starts over again every July). A gift is cash, check, or a credit card charge that you give outright to the school. Even a stock transfer counts as a gift!
  • When should I make my Annual Fund gift or pledge?

The earlier you send your pledge or gift, the earlier we can put it to work for our students. If you make a pledge now, then you have until June 30th to pay it for this year's Annual Fund.
