New Student Exchange Program with Liceo Sorolla International School in Madrid, Spain

Palmer Trinity School is proud to announce the implementation of a new student exchange program with Liceo Sorolla International School in Madrid, Spain. This program seeks to build a cultural and linguistic bridge between students and families from the United States and Spain.

This exchange program was implemented for the first time in 2019-2020. Sophomores from Liceo Sorolla will be enrolled at our school to start classes at the beginning of August through September 2024. During the second semester, students from Palmer Trinity will travel to Madrid and remain at their school through February 2025. To build a close partnership between the families involved in the program, each student will be paired with one from Madrid and vice versa.

We are officially accepting applications from rising sophomores interested in studying in Madrid next year. Applicants should be enrolled in the Spanish 4S Honors / Spanish 4 Honors course (intermediate-advanced level). During the program, we may be accepting 5 students. Palmer Trinity students chosen for the program will agree to host the students from Liceo Sorolla in their homes during the 6-week study abroad program. This experience is based on a reciprocal agreement between Palmer Trinity School and Liceo Sorolla International School. The main cost of the program is the airline ticket and the money to spend in Spain.

If you are interested in this exchange program, please complete the Student Exchange Application and contact Sr. Julio Carassou, World Languages Department Chair at jcarassou@palmertrinity.org or Mr. Danny Reynolds, Associate Head of School for External Relations at dreynolds@palmertrinity.org
