Hispanic Honor Society Sends Care Package to Students of School Impacto
The Hispanic Honor Society donated the shipping cost to send three boxes of pajamas and socks to the new cohort of Maya girls who will start their education at School Impacto in Guatemala.
Every year, 50 girls are carefully selected to be the beneficiaries of Middle and High School education. This opportunity has a powerful impact on their lives and in their communities.
Because of the pandemic, PTS students could not travel this year, but the spirit of solidarity of our student/parent community was expressed with the donation of 50 pajamas and pairs of socks.
Thank you very much to Mrs. Susi Cetta for leading this initiative and to Mr. Carlos Garces for raising the money to cover the shipping cost.
