Shutout Victory for Varsity Girls Soccer on Senior Day
It is only fitting that on Senior Day for the Varsity Girls Soccer team, Senior Carmen Gonzalez Del Valle scored the only goal in a 1-0 shutout victory over Coral Shores and that Senior goalkeeper Abigail Cohen earned the shutout. Along with Gonzalez Del Valle and Cohen, Amanda Cruz, Daniela Gomez, and Natalia Rey were honored in the pregame ceremony.
Additionally, at the beginning of the match, Senior Captain Daniela Gomez, who suffered a torn ACL earlier this season, returned to the pitch for one last time and got the game game started with the opening kick before being subbed.
The girls will travel to Ransom Everglades on Friday, January 24th at 4:00pm.
