Big Questions in Big History

Dr. David Christian, creator and Director of the Big History Project at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia skyped with freshmen students in World History about the modern scientific origin story of our Universe, that spans from the Big Bang to the present and the future. Students asked questions about the challenges that humanity is facing in the twenty-first century and the prospects of a new threshold of sustainability. The conversation also delved into terraforming Mars, the exploration of life in exoplanets, and trans-humanism.
