The School’s mission — commitment to all members of our community, dedication to excellence, and respect for diversity — is an important aspect of our fundraising appeal. We follow fiscal principles that reflect our commitment to socio-economic, religious and other types of diversity. A diverse campus enriches the experience of all students. Because we all benefit from the School’s mission, we must also assume the responsibility for nurturing and strengthening this mission.
With the acquisition of 33 acres, the time has come to set new standards at Palmer Trinity School, so that future generations of our students will have the best educational environment possible – keeping with Palmer Trinity’s vision of being one the country’s top Episcopal day schools. At independent schools, both in Florida and around the country, strong fundraising programs are central to the school’s community. The Development office becomes ever more vital to growth through our collaborative work on major gift solicitations, annual fund, alumni relations, special events, and volunteer coordination.
Fundraising and a culture of philanthropy must become part of the Palmer Trinity School environment. As our mission strives to ensure that every graduate is a responsible citizen of the world, so too we hope that every family understands their role in a philanthropic context. More and more often today, people are solicited for donations, for their volunteer energy, and for their ability to lend their particular talents to a cause. Opportunities to give time, talent and treasure abound at PTS and we offer each family a chance to contribute to the school in an appropriate and meaningful way.
Every year, the School asks families for financial support outside of tuition and the yearly generosity of those closest to our community provides about 7% of operating revenue. No gift to the Annual Fund is too large, nor is any gift too small. Major gift appeals will enable Palmer Trinity to build new facilities and to increase our endowment. Everything that our current student body enjoys today have been made possible by those who responded to such mission worthy appeals.
To all of you who help Palmer Trinity School sustain its educational vibrancy, thank you. PTS is grateful for your interest and depends on your support.
Sincerely,
Bennett W. Hoke Director of Development
