|PTS Varsity Golf Team Opens Its Regular Season With A Victory Over Westminster Christian|
Palmer Trinity opened the regular season with a solid victory over the arch-rival Westminster Christian Warriors by a score of 159-181. Jack Fumagalli fired a one-over-par 36 which included two birdies. Jackson Fox battled his way to a solid 40 followed closely by Daniel Abdelnour’s 41 and Mike Gravier’s 42. The other two Falcon players, Junior Luca Giberti and 8th grader Nick Rojas (playing in his first Varsity match, posted excellent scores of 48 and 45, respectively. The Falcons will travel to Broward County to battle Westminster Academy in their next match on Thursday, September 4 at 3:30 p.m. versus Woodmont.

Palmer Trinity opened the year with a solid showing in the annual Westminster Christian tournament. Jack Fumagalli led the Falcons with an 8 over par 79, including one of the team’s three birdies, followed closely by the matching 12 over par 83’s shot by Jackson Fox (recorded the other two birdies) and Daniel Abdelnour. Mike Gravier’s 90 rounded out the team’s scoring and Luca Giberti battled the windy conditions to post a 104. The Falcon scored placed them second among the four participating teams from their Region. The Falcons open their dual match season in two days versus archrival Westminster Christian (Thursday, Aug 28 at 4:30 pm at the Biltmore Hotel).

Palmer Trinity 21 vs. Somerset Silver Palms 6
Palmer Trinity(1-0) opened its season with a convincing win against Somerset Silver Palms by a score of 21-6. Senior Daniel Chumbley caught a 38 yard TD strike from QB Dylan DiBello. Jonathon Valles had 50 yards rushing and a touchdown.
Blake Miller led the PT Falcons Offense with 19 carries for 136 yards due in part to great play by the offensive line led by Jon Sourber. Palmer Trinity's defense was led by Andrew Beauperthuy who had 5.5 tackles. Junior Daniel Erixon also contributed with an interception.

|Five Falcons Make First Team!|
The Miami Herald and the South Florida Lacrosse Coaches have selected five members of the PTS Varisty Girls Lacrosse team for 2014 First Team All County Honors.
|Daniel du Feu named to FACA First Team All State|
After being named as the Miami Herald's First Team All County Goalie for Soccer, PTS Senior Daniel du Feu was also selected as the 2014 Florida Athletic Coaches Association First Team ALL STATE Goalie.
|PTS Discus State Champ|
Palmer Trinity Freshman Sofia Iglesias participated in the discus event at the FHSAA 1A State Track and Field Championships this past Friday, and despite throwing in a downpour she managed to record her second best throw ever (99' 9") to finish 10th overall. She ends the season as the second ranked freshman discus thrower in the state (1A). Go Falcons!
