A Day in the Life of A College Student
Breakthrough Miami and Palmer Trinity School students had the opportunity to live a day in the life of a college student this past Saturday. Students traveled to the University of Miami, where they took a tour of the campus, attended a class (Creative Writing, Islam, Physics, or Christianity) taught by actual UM professors, and paid a visit to the Palley Pavilion for Contemporary Art and Glass Studio Arts. This wonderful opportunity was organized by the Palmer Trinity Parents Association Breakthrough Miami Committee. Thank you to Marcia Pirani, Elvira Restrepo, Mimi Fernandez, Belkis Freedman, Breakthrough Miami and the University of Miami for putting together this great event!

Lessons and Carols Chapel
Lessons and Carols is an annual Palmer Trinity tradition, usually taking place the week before exams and Christmas break. Today’s lessons were beautifully read by Micah Whitley, Vivian Cerione, Bryce Smith '20, Koraly Joseph '15, Harriett Mock, Charlotte Loffredo, Brenda Quesada '15, Andrew Waldman '21, Omar Montesinos-Marron '16, and Patrick Roberts . The Reverend Dr. Mary Ellen Cassini gave an inspiring opening prayer with a short address to set the tone of reflection during this Advent, then Christmas season. The music was artfully provided by the Guitar Ensemble, MS and US Choruses, PTS Band and String Ensemble. It was a wonderful way to move through the tension this time of year and spiritually prepare for the holidays ahead. To view a video of Lessons and Carols, visit the Media and Publications Page.
