Two Palmer Trinity Music Students Chosen For All-State
Palmer Trinity School 9th graders Wynne Owre and Isabella Swift were selected for the second year in a row to participate in the Florida Music Educators All-State Ensembles in Tampa, FL. Each year, thousands of Florida music students, 7th through 12th grade, audition for grade-level All-State performing groups. Directors may also nominate students for Honors Performing Groups. This year, Wynne was selected on viola for the 9-10th Concert Orchestra and Isabella was selected on flute for the High School Honor Band.

The Importance of Eating Local Honey
Local Bee Keeper Marcie Davis came to Palmer Trinity School today to educate students about local honey farming. Students learned about honey bee behavior, how honey is harvested, and the health benefits to eating local un-processed honey. They also got to make their own beeswax candles. During lunch, Chef Brian and SAGE Dining Services set up a local honey tasting station, where students got the chance to sample different types of honey produced only a few miles away from PTS.
