Spanish Conferencia Champions
Congratulations to the PTS Spanish Team, who won the 1st Place trophy in Division II (Heritage Speakers) Category 3A/4A at this year’s La Conferencia de Español in Orlando. PTS students competed against 47 other teams from across the state of Florida. The team competed in the categories of Speech, Poetry Declamation, and Drama. All of the student speeches and the play received "Sobresaliente" - the highest possible score at the Conferencia. Congratulations to all of our talented student competitors and to Team Advisors Raul Gonzalez, Anderson Stewart, and Trinidad Rittenhouse.

All-School Convocation With Wayne William Smoke Snellgrove
Native American Wayne Smoke Snellgrove came to speak with students, faculty, and staff during a special all-school Convocation. He told the harrowing story of being taken away from his parents at birth, adopted by an American family, and his journey to re-discover his Native American roots. Wayne’s message of forgiveness and learning to love your fellow brothers and sisters resonated strongly with members of the PTS Community.
