Guest Alumni Speaker Series
The Integrated Math class, led by Ms. De Villiers, holds a series of Alumni guest lecturers throughout the year. This year, we have heard from Preston Michelson '12 about his transition from PTS to college life and on Tuesday, Realtor Lynley Walker Ciorobea '96 came to speak to the class.

Mrs. Ciorobea presented a wonderful class about real estate; from listing a house, to finding its market value based on square footage, to negotiating a contract and closing. She illustrated her lecture with an actual home and the students were very much impressed and delighted by the presentation.

Hispanic Heritage Month Chapel
Students, faculty, and staff gathered in the PTS Gym this morning to celebrate upcoming Hispanic Heritage Month. Convocation began with the singing of Alabaré a Mi Señor by Mr. Gonzalez and senior Raul Gonzalez followed by an explanation of Operation Pedro Pan by junior Alexandra Valladares. Then, Faculty member Julie Suris told her story about coming to America from Cuba at a very young age. Convocation concluded with a lively salsa dance with faculty, staff, and students.
