Boosters

Welcome back Palmer Trinity families!

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer break full of fun, adventure and most importantly, rest! I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Beth (Brockway) Serrate and I am an alumni of Palmer School, class of '85. I currently have three children entering 7th grade and one entering 6th in 2012.

I am very excited to be the 2011-2012 Booster President! I got involved last year, and truly enjoyed every minute of it. I am looking forward to returning to the campus and watching our teams fill the practice fields in preparation for the first games of the fall sports season!

There are three things that drive the Boosters: promoting school spirit, supporting the athletic department and volunteerism! It is so exciting to see so many parents wanting to get involved with this very worthwhile organization, where the beneficiaries are the students. The Boosters aren’t just a sports-minded group. In addition to supporting the athletic department and teams, we strive to raise school spirit within all groups and organizations.

Our Booster organization is also unique in that we do not have the pressure to fundraise. Our revenue primarily comes from the Falcons Nest, our snack and service bar that is open for all home games, Homecoming (one of our biggest events of the year), and sales from our fan gear. The extra revenue that comes from these activities helps purchase items for the PTS athletic department and the PTS community.

At Palmer Trinity, all parents are Boosters! With the help of all the volunteers, we can create awareness for ALL activities and provide much-needed support to our student groups. You do not have to have a child participating in a sport to be a part of the Boosters. This is also a great chance to meet other Palmer Trinity parents!

Please use the Palmer Trinity website often to stay tuned for the many events and volunteering opportunities that take place throughout the year. Let’s support our students and athletes with our unbridled enthusiasm!
