A Message from the Director of Annual Fund
Dear PTS Friends, Congratulations to all our 2010-2011 Annual Fund Ambassadors!! Your combined volunteer efforts helped raise $502,497 to support the current-year operating expenses for the school and specifically for the direct benefit of our students and faculty! Our community of support is made up of parents, grandparents, alumni, Trustees, neighbors and friends of the school. We are especially grateful for your support and look forward to another great year! Our school is committed to the moral, spiritual, intellectual, physical and creative growth of all members of our school community. Philanthropy and giving to the Annual Fund supports our efforts to inspire our students to lead lives of honor, integrity, and social responsibility. While it continues to be a challenging economy, we thank you in advance for your loyal support and commitment to our great school. With gratitude, Susana Cetta, LMHC Director of Annual Fund Why give to the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund affords Palmer Trinity School the opportunity to offer its student body and faculty the essentials that make the difference between a good education and a great one. All gifts, no matter what the level, make this important difference. Tuition covers only 90% of the total cost to educate each student. This year, the gap between tuition and the actual cost per student is approximately $1,900. The Annual Fund supports the current-year operating expenses and gifts make up this difference. Annual Fund gifts are usually unrestricted and allow the school to spend wherever needed most. What are the bigger picture advantages of a strong Annual Fund?
- Competitive faculty salaries and ongoing professional development
- Smaller class sizes with more personal attention
- Academic programs, including innovative and co-curricular course offerings
