Sandy Golf and Tennis Tournament: Monday, January 30th
On Monday, January 30, 2012, the Sandy Golf and Tennis Tournament will be held at the famous Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club. This is the second year we will host the tennis tournament. The Tournament benefits the Sandy Block Financial Aid Endowment at Palmer Trinity School. The proceeds give outstanding students the opportunity to attend Palmer Trinity School and receive need-based financial aid. The chairs for this year are Board members Chuck Klenk and Magdalena Rothfeldt, along with Alumni Brian Gershen’98 and Nathan Zeder '98.
Sandy Block was a former PTS parent and an active Board member. Aspiring to honor his father’s memory, Chris Block founded the golf tournament after Sandy passed away. “He cared a great deal about Palmer Trinity and as a parent and founding board member; he was committed to making the school a better place.” Proceeds from the tournament are allocated towards the Sandy Block Financial Aid Endowment, which allows outstanding students to attend Palmer Trinity School on a need-based scholarship. College and Career Day: Friday, May 18, 2012
Come back to campus and share your experiences while you were at Palmer, in college, and in your industry with the current Junior Class! For the third year in a row, Palmer Trinity School will host Alumni College and Career Day during Reunion Weekend. The event will take place May 18, 2012. You will be welcomed by Head of School, Sean Murphy, former teachers, and a hearty breakfast to get you started before you speak to the students in the classroom, in a round table format. Reunion Weekend: June 1-2, 2012
In June, Reunion Weekend celebrates Alumni families returning to their alma mater. This popular weekend offers Alumni families a chance to rekindle old friendships, reminisce with faculty members, and enjoy nostalgic walks through campus. Palmer Trinity also hosts Alumni sporting events and Class Reunion parties on this special weekend.
