The Palmer Trinity Theatre Department

Palmer Trinity Theatre offers students a rigorous and professional theatre experience in a caring and supportive environment where students feel safe to explore and take risks. A variety of courses are offered to allow students to study acting, musical theatre, playwriting, directing, design, and technical theatre. The emphasis is on individual growth, process-oriented work, and the ensemble approach to theatre. Collaborative ensemble work is frequently showcased. Visiting master artists will educate our theatre students on state-of-the-art techniques and innovative theatrical concepts. Affiliated with the International Thespian Society, our Upper School Troupe 5458 and Junior Troupe 88939, participate in both District and State Level competitions. In the fall, Upper School presents a One-Act play. Closing out the first semester, School-wide auditions are held for the full-length Spring Musical. Performances are held on campus and at local theatres.

Into the Woods takes everyone's favorite Grimms Fairytale characters bringing them together to weave a timeless, yet relevant story around the theme of wishes, choices and the consequences thereafter. One of Sondheim's most popular works, the Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching…Not to be missed!
